Post Recent Flickr Changes - Posting Images ***updated 7/5/2015**
A quick guide on the new flickr posting procedure as the current one is out of date.

1. Select the Image you want

2. Select 'Share'

3. A new share function now pops up, Select 'BBCode' the Size you want (Fox allows images up to 1200px on the Longest Edge) and either copy and paste or Press 'Ctrl+C'

5. Paste the Link in you're post.

Still has some issues in that it resets as 'Default' so the BBCode and size will have to be manually selected for each image, hopefully soon once you select the image it will stay the same for the rest.

Hopefully this will help.

Cheers Rob, always good to have this down as a guide for when i've forgotten next week. When i last posted i could still only select the 1024 res even though i had resized to 1200 and when i retried this tonight it has my originals down as 1399 x 1000, but when i do properties on my photos in explorer they are 1200 x 800 - any thoughts

Last time i used it the 1200x option didn't show because for some reason flickr jumbled the sizes up on the next image, this no longer happens so it should be at the bottom.

What do you use to upload them Martin Flickr Uploadr or Flickr itself?

The 'scroll' comes from using the HTML 'Embed' Code, you need to click the BBCode  Good

HTML Embed code

BBCode

RAF Tornado GR4 by Reptile 1, on Flickr

There is also no requirement to use the [img][/img] on the top bar as flickr has that already in the image code  Good

flickr have once again changed the layout and how to share images, it's pretty simple so i'll have a go at doing a step by step guide to replace the original   Good
