Post Week 12 Image of the Week (23rd March - 29th March)
This week has lead to some fantastic mage being posted on Fox 2 once again from various locations around the country, well done to all that have taken the time to post and comment on the images posted.

This weeks image of the week comes from a set of images that anyone would be proud to have in their portfolio and it goes to show just how unpredictable this hobby can be. We've all been there sitting on a hillside somewhere hoping for something to appear round the corner and when it does the joy and exhilaration is unrivalled. This weeks winner just goes to prove that special days maybe few and far between but when they happen they live long in the memory.

From the post   Three 100 foot GR4s at Bowerhope 23/3/15  http://fox2.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=29766

1st

Walter has caught the 40th Anniversary special tail water locked at 100ft in some fantastic light, as if that wasn't enough Walter was lucky enough to capture another two GR4's at 100ft all within 6 minutes!. Now that has to go down as a special day out.

Second place this week goes to a shot that is almost as rare as Walter's.

From the post 25/03/15 Pulpit and Cad West http://fox2.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=29789

2nd

Cad West 25/03/15 by Rory Trappe,

Rory has produced a stunning shot of a bombed up Typhoon knife edging through Cad West in late afternoon light, a sight that is not repeated to often.

Last but certainly not least is a shot which is probably a bit like marmite and you will either love it or hate it.

From the post RAF Lakenheath Last Week http://fox2.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=29780

3rd

78-0651 A-10C 354th EFS "Bulldogs" / 355th FW - Davis Monthan AFB, Tucson by Ashley Wallace - Touchdown Aviation,

Ashley has produced a stunning image of an A-10 pilot as he boards his ride whilst ground crew stand by. The use of HDR has brought a picture taken in dull conditions to life.

Honourable mentions this week go to :-

Spark Vark Boring junglies  http://fox2.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=29751
Alchad  Bluebell- 25.3.15; Lumberjack 26.3.15 http://fox2.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=29822
Welshi Wednesday 25th March http://fox2.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=29826
Reptile LJ 25/27 March 2015 http://fox2.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=29807

As always if anyone would like a go as guest judge for Image of the Week then please contact one of the team.

Thanks once again to all that posted and commented last week.

Thanks very much for my first place. I feel very honoured considering the top photographers with super editing skills I admire so much and who feature on the site on a regular basis. Congratulations to the second and third placed photos, both cracking shots.

Cheers,
Walter
